This telescopic throat mic sits against the neck, picks up voice vibration and feeds it through a NATO plug, and the band adjusts between 12 and 15 inches. It suits radio users who want their hands free.

A throat mic that leaves both hands free

✅ Hands stay on the job With the headset on, both hands stay free for a ladder, a rope or a steering wheel while you keep listening.

✅ Voice picked up at the throat The mic rests against the neck and reads voice vibration, so speech does not depend on holding a handset to the mouth.

✅ Adjusts to your neck The telescopic band slides to fit a neck between 12 and 15 inches, and the earpiece follows the same frame.

✅ NATO plug connection The cable ends in a NATO plug, the connector type stated here, so you can match your radio cable before ordering.

The headset is a listening and speaking accessory, not a radio. It connects through the NATO plug on its cable, and a PTT switch is required to transmit; without that switch the microphone cannot key the set.

Before ordering, check two things: that your radio, or the adapter cable you use with it, ends in a NATO plug, and that you have a PTT switch that fits your set. The headset itself does not include one.

On a site, in a vehicle yard or on a range, the frame puts the earpiece at the ear and the mic at the throat, and the band sits around the neck rather than over the head. That leaves a helmet, cap or face covering free.

One headset arrives in the pack, in black, with the plug on the cable. Nothing else is needed to listen, but nothing else is supplied either, so the PTT switch and the radio side stay your part of the setup.

Technical details

Type: Telescopic throat vibration microphone headset

Connector: NATO plug

Neck fit: 12 to 15 inches, telescopic band

Colour: Black

PTT: Not included; a separate PTT switch is required to transmit

Package contents: 1 × NATO plug telescopic throat mic headset

Radio side: Requires a radio or cable with a NATO plug

Check your radio's plug and your PTT switch, then keep both hands free on the next shift.

See more: browse more audio devices and radio accessories

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0764/5980/2954/files/S73cd9b09e05346be8e91d094f5312a5dB.webp?v=1793145492
https://spy-shop.com/sl/products/walkie-talkie-telescopic-heavy-duty-tactical-throat-vibration-mic-headphone-headset-microphone-nato-plug-for-walkie-talkie-radio
