3.5 mm AUX Adapter Cable with Mini ISO 8 Pin Plug for Car Radios
Your head unit has the socket at the back, your phone has a headphone jack, and nothing joins them. This adapter plugs into the rear aux port and puts a 3.5 mm jack on the end of a cable. About 147 cm of lead reaches from the dash to a seat or cradle.
Audio From the Rear AUX Port
✅ Rear port connection One end seats in the port behind the head unit; the other ends in a 3.5 mm jack.
✅ Lead long enough to route About 147 cm of cable runs from the dash to a cradle, cupholder or seat.
✅ Phones, players and tablets Any device with a standard 3.5 mm output can feed the radio.
✅ No wiring or soldering Plug both ends in and press play; there is no harness to cut or splice.
✅ Sound through the car speakers Music from the connected device plays through the radio and the speakers already fitted.
Where a head unit has an aux input on the back, this cable is the shortest route from a phone to the radio. Nothing is broadcast over the air and no cassette mechanism is involved, because the signal travels through a connector the radio already has.
Fitment is the part worth checking. The 8-pin plug matches the rear aux socket on VW, Audi and Blaupunkt radios, and similar sockets appear on other makes, so compare the plug shape and pin count with your own unit before ordering.
The lead measures about 147 cm, enough to reach from behind the dash to a cradle, a cupholder or the passenger seat. The pack contains one adapter cable, and the measurement is nominal, so allow a small difference.
