Soil Moisture Probe & Analogue/Digital Module
Place a soil probe where your project needs a moisture input while keeping its interface board separate. This resistive soil-moisture module offers analogue and digital outputs for compatible microcontroller projects. It is for hobbyists building custom plant-monitoring or control circuits.
- ✅ Position the sensing point separately — The wired probe lets you keep the interface board away from the soil.
- ✅ Read changing conditions in software — The analogue output connects to a compatible ADC input.
- ✅ Create a threshold-based trigger — An adjustable digital output changes state at your chosen setting.
- ✅ Fit a compact prototype — The small interface board takes up little room beside your controller.
A separate probe for your own moisture-monitoring build
The resistive probe provides an input related to soil moisture, with AO and DO connections on the interface board. Use the analogue output in your own code, or set the digital threshold using the onboard adjustment.
This is a sensor component rather than a finished meter or watering controller. Match the signal level to your microcontroller and calibrate for the soil being used. The supply, controller and any switching circuit are separate.

Use a suitable driver circuit when linking the output to a load.

The analogue output connects to a compatible ADC input.

The wired probe and small board can be positioned separately.
