Technical details

Specifications: CAT5/CAT6 cable support, a 3.7 V 1400 mAh battery and an optical power range of −70 to +10 dBm. The main tester measures 133 × 69 × 32 mm and the receiver 198 × 50 × 32 mm.

The RJ45 interface is listed with a 60 V withstand limit; this is not permission to test arbitrary live wiring. Follow the guide for each port, confirm optical functions on the NF-918S and never look into the visual fault locator or fibre.
