Make controlled fitting taps when a bare steel face is unsuitable for your workpiece. This dual-face mallet combines black and yellow striking faces with a steel shaft and textured grip. It is for DIY assembly and workshop fitting jobs.

Two faces for a more considered tap

Different materials call for different contact surfaces. The yellow polyurethane face and black face give you an alternative to striking directly with a steel hammer during suitable fitting and assembly work.

Choose the size that fits your working space. Current options are 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45mm; the size designation refers to the mallet model rather than a guarantee that both face diameters are identical.

The faces screw into the central head. Test delicate surfaces first and use light taps: a soft mallet can still leave a mark. Extra replacement faces are not confirmed as included.
