Fitting is a bolt-on job at the stand mount, and the height is set by the adjustable section rather than by cutting anything. Options three and four include a wrench for the fixings; options one and two are the stand on its own, so check what you already have in the toolbox first.

The 150 kg figure describes how much weight the stand holds while the bike is parked. It is a parking aid, not a seat and not a work platform, so do not put a person's weight on the bike while it rests on the stand.

On soft ground the non-slip footpad still has limits: gravel, wet grass and loose soil give less than tarmac does. A flat stone or a puck under the foot spreads the load on a hot day, when asphalt softens under a heavy bike.
