Use scan indications as part of a checked layout
The five stated modes comprise three stud-depth settings, plus metal and AC scans. Stated maximum depths are 13, 25 and 38 mm for the stud settings, 60 mm for metal and 51 mm for live-AC indications. These are conditional figures, not guaranteed performance through every wall.
Calibrate and move the tool according to its instructions, keeping suitable contact with the surface. Wall layers, moisture, foil, object position and material can affect the result. No dependable PVC-pipe identification is confirmed. A blank reading does not prove a drilling point is clear or a cable is isolated.
One selected scanner is supplied, with orange or black body options. A 9 V 6F22 battery is required and not included. Drills, fixings and surrounding tools in the images are excluded. Verify services by appropriate additional methods and isolate supplies where needed before work.
