The tool is rated for a 220 V supply and arrives with a European standard plug. On a UK bench that means a suitable socket or adapter, and the pen is not cordless.
Depth depends on what is under the tip. The figures given are 0.1 to 0.5 mm in one pass and 0.3 to 0.8 mm when the line is repeated, with the harder the material the shallower the cut.
One pen is supplied with the 3 mm bit fitted. No spare tips, stencils or practice plates are named for the pack, so extra bits are a separate purchase.
Start on a scrap of the same stock: an offcut of acrylic, a spare tile, a tin lid. Set the gear, make one slow pass, and look at the line before touching the real piece.
