MT87 Digital Clamp Meter

Bring AC-current checks and lead-based measurements into one instrument. The MT87 clamp meter combines an AC-current clamp with AC/DC voltage and resistance functions for work within its actual ratings.

✅ Check AC current through the clamp - The clamp provides a current-measuring method without inserting the meter in series with the circuit.

✅ Use the same instrument for other electrical checks - Matched test leads provide the voltage and resistance functions in the meter.

Use the Clamp and Leads for Their Different Roles

The clamp-current function needs the correct access to a single conductor. A cable containing outgoing and returning conductors does not give the same reading, because their fields can cancel. Follow the meter's instructions for the actual measurement arrangement.

Choose the function and range for the check, and confirm the environment is permitted by the meter and probes' marked ratings and safety category. Prepare the two AAA cells before the first session.
