Guide the backing through a replaceable cutting head
Feed the edge of suitable backing paper or thin film into the hook-shaped cutting head, then guide the slitter along the intended line. The head surrounds part of the cutting edge, but the blade remains sharp; control the tool carefully and keep hands away from the cutting path.
The metal head holds a replaceable blade, so a dull edge does not require replacing the complete handle. Secure the blade and retaining hardware before use. Test the material on an offcut first rather than assuming every fabric, film or thick sheet will feed in the same way.
Choose the cutter-with-2-blade or cutter-with-6-blade package. Each supplies one slitter and the selected blade quantity. This is a light-duty film and backing tool; it is not suitable for soft fibrous cloth or PVC banner material thicker than 0.8mm.
