TA500A/B/C Digital Tachometer, Contact & Optical Options
Check rotational speed using the measurement method your task allows. This handheld tachometer family offers optical TA500A, contact TA500B and dual-method TA500C options. It is for workshop and technical users comparing rotational readings or, on contact models, surface movement.

Select the measurement method before the model
Choose TA500A for optical measurement, TA500B for contact measurement, or TA500C for both. TA500A is specified at 3–100,000 RPM; contact rotation on TA500B and TA500C is specified at 3–19,999 RPM. Only the contact-capable models provide the illustrated linear measurement units.
For optical work, prepare the reflective target while the machine is stopped and follow the operating instructions for positioning. The stated optical working distance is 50–500 mm. For contact work, use the appropriate supplied tip or wheel and the manufacturer's procedure; keep clear of exposed moving components.
All options require two 1.5 V AAA batteries, supplied separately. The selected meter comes with an instruction manual; optical packs show reflective material and contact packs show their attachments. Choose the model-specific pack image, since the TA500A does not include the TA500C's measurement methods.
