Set-up runs in one direction: push the nozzle into the valve, switch on, and stop when the fabric tightens. The pump moves a high volume of air at low pressure, so it fills mattresses, floats and paddling pools quickly but is not meant for tyres, footballs or anything that needs pressure rather than volume.

The package holds the pump, the 3-in-1 nozzle, a car charging cable and an EU mains adapter, so both power routes work straight out of the box. There is no battery inside, which is why a socket is needed wherever you inflate; nothing has to be charged before a trip.

Two lines in the instructions are worth repeating: never leave the pump running unattended, and keep it away from children. A single run should stay under 30 minutes of continuous operation, and the housing is ABS plastic built to be carried rather than left outdoors.
