Self-Priming Copper Siphon Pump with Hose for Fuel and Water
Empty a jerrycan into the mower without lifting it or starting the flow by mouth: drop the brass head in the fuel, work it up and down, and the hose takes over. The self-priming head moves water, diesel, paint and solvent. A shed and garage tool for transfers that get messy.
Start the flow without putting your mouth on the hose
✅ No mouthful of fuel Prime it by working the head up and down; the hose never goes near your mouth.
✅ Quick transfer It shifts up to 3.5 gallons a minute, so a small tank empties without a long wait.
✅ Water, fuel, paint, solvent One copper head handles the lot, from watering cans to diesel, thinners and paint.
✅ Three hose lengths Choose 1 m, 2 m or 3 m of hose, or a pack of three spare copper heads.
The brass pump at the hose end does the priming. Drop it in the liquid, work it up and down a few times and the flow starts, then the siphon keeps running on its own while the level in the can drops.
Four options are offered and they are not the same thing. Three are hose sets of 1 m, 2 m and 3 m with the copper head fitted, while the fourth is a set of three copper heads on their own, with no hose. If you already own hose, the head set is the spare.
Sizes come from hand measurement: 6.3 cm high, 2.2 cm across the base and 1.5 cm at the mouth, with a few millimetres of tolerance. Check the opening on your can before ordering, because the head has to pass through it.
