Inductive Engine Tachometer & Hour Meter with Service Reminder
Keep a running-hours reference when planning maintenance on compatible petrol-engine equipment. This compact tachometer and hour meter uses an inductive pickup lead near the spark-plug cable. It is for owners of suitable two- or four-stroke spark-ignition engines, not diesel or electric drives.
- ✅ Track use between maintenance checks — The hour-counter function provides a running-time reference alongside your service records.
- ✅ View engine speed during a check — The tachometer function displays RPM when the correct ignition mode is selected.
- ✅ Set a service-hours reminder — The programmable reminder provides an interval prompt rather than relying only on memory.
- ✅ Read the counter at the mounting position — The LCD keeps hours and operating information on the unit itself.
- ✅ Fit a pickup without a mechanical drive — The inductive lead senses ignition pulses from a suitable spark-plug cable arrangement.
Record engine hours and check the ignition setting
Wrap and secure the pickup lead as directed in the supplied instructions, then select the ignition mode that matches the engine's firing pattern. Two-stroke and four-stroke labels are starting points; an incorrect pulse setting gives an incorrect RPM reading. An accessible suitable ignition lead is required.
Use the hour reading alongside the equipment's service schedule and your maintenance notes. A programmed reminder does not establish that oil, filters or other parts remain within specification. Check the reading while stationary and follow the engine maker's procedures when working near moving or hot parts.
One meter with pickup lead is shown. The side ears provide mounting points, but fasteners and a retail box are not confirmed. Conflicting maximum-RPM and counter figures are omitted. The power-cell type and replacement method are not confirmed, and no water-protection rating is asserted.

The counter is intended for compatible spark-ignition equipment with a suitable pickup location.

Follow the supplied lead-wrapping and ignition-mode instructions for the actual engine.

The equipment scenes are examples, not verified fitment to every engine model.

Use the hour reading as a reference alongside the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.

The LCD and S1/S2 buttons are on the front of the meter.

The pickup lead is attached to the compact counter body.

Side mounting ears provide fastening points; mounting screws are not confirmed as included.

The gallery and text give slightly different dimensions; allow clearance around the body and lead.
