The port logic is simple. With power on, port 1 opens to port 2 and port 3 stays closed; with power off, port 1 opens to port 3 and port 2 closes. Plan your tubing around those two states before you order.

A common job is a water purifier or a coffee machine whose inlet valve has stopped switching. Read the coil voltage printed on the old part, then choose the 6 V, 12 V or 24 V version that matches it.
