Follow the room's pattern, not just one reading
Place the sensor indoors within good Wi-Fi coverage and allow it to settle after setup or relocation. The specified accuracy is ±1°C for temperature and ±5% RH for humidity, making the readings a household reference rather than precision laboratory measurements.
Battery operation uses a sleep-and-report cycle. The sensor normally reports at least hourly and also responds when temperature changes exceed 0.5°C or humidity changes exceed 5% RH. It is not a continuously connected live stream, and the reporting interval cannot be freely set.
Create temperature or humidity automations in Smart Life or Tuya Smart using separately supplied compatible devices. Alexa and Google Home linking is for voice queries; temperature-based routines in those platforms and Yandex Alice are not provided.
Fit two LR03 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries before use; batteries are not included. Keep the unit dry indoors and avoid treating the app's latest value as a substitute for checking a time-critical situation.
Use ZY-TH02 on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and add it to Smart Life or Tuya Smart.
The app shows the latest reported values; battery-saving sleep means the sensor is not constantly online.
