Self-Adhesive Child Safety Cabinet Lock with Keys, 20 cm Cable

The fridge door opens easily once a toddler works out the handle. This self-adhesive lock straps across the door and the cabinet side, opens with its key, and its 20 cm cable reaches around a chunky fridge handle. For kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms with a curious child.

One lock for doors that open too easily

✅ Fridge door, key needed A strap across the door and the cabinet side means the handle has to be released with the key first.

✅ Sticks on, no drilling The base is self-adhesive, so a rented kitchen or a finished cabinet keeps its panels free of screw holes.

✅ Reaches a thick handle The 20 cm cable runs around a fridge handle or a cabinet knob and the two ends still meet.

✅ Drawers and windows too The same strap suits a drawer front, a window frame, a toilet lid or the washing machine door.

✅ Adults keep the key The lock comes with keys, so whoever is cooking can open the fridge without undoing anything.

Fitting takes three steps: wipe the surface clean, peel the adhesive backing off the base, then press it onto the position you want. Because the fixing is a pad rather than a screw, the panels are left as they were if the lock is ever moved.

The places it suits are the ones a child reaches first: the fridge, the cupboard under the sink, the drawer with the sharp things, the window above a bed, and the washing machine door. A lock on each of those covers the rooms where a small hand does the most damage.

The cable measures 20 cm and the material is stainless steel, which is sized for the gap between a door and its frame rather than for anything wider. On a very deep or wide handle, measure the distance across the corner before ordering.
