A back door step goes dark long before the evening ends. This square solar wall light charges from its own panel through the day and switches on as the light fades, with no cable to run. IP65 housing, about 98 or 80 mm across.

Garden light that switches itself on at dusk

✅ Comes on as light fades A light sensor reads the falling daylight and switches the lamp on without a timer.

✅ No cable to bury The panel on top charges a battery inside, so a fence post needs no outdoor socket.

✅ Evening by the back door Fix it above the step and the doorway is lit when you come back after dark.

✅ Fence line and balcony Screwed to a fence panel or balcony wall, it marks the edge without wiring the garden.

✅ Warm white or RGB Two light options: warm white alone, or warm white with colour for a summer evening.

Charging is the part to plan. The panel needs about six to eight hours of full sun for a full battery, and a full charge runs the lamp for roughly ten to twelve hours. In shade, or through a grey winter week, expect less, so fix it where the panel catches the most daylight.

Fitting takes four steps: mark and drill the holes, push in the rubber plugs and screw the bracket, switch the lamp on, then hang it. The switch matters, because the lamp stays off at dusk until it is set.

The body is ABS with a frosted PC front, rated IP65, which covers dust and jets of water from any direction. It carries CCC and CE marks. Sizes are about 98 mm and 80 mm square, and the option you pick sets how many lamps arrive, so a fence line can be done in one order.
