Match the Drive, Then Build the Storage

An M.2 shape alone does not establish compatibility. Check the drive's SATA or NVMe protocol, key and length, then select the corresponding enclosure before fitting it.

The NVMe versions offer a 10Gbps interface and the SATA version a 5Gbps interface. Actual transfer speed also depends on the drive, cable, host port and workload. The enclosure is supplied without an SSD.
