Metal Saxophone Mouthpiece Ligature for Alto and Tenor

Hold the reed flat against the mouthpiece and screw the fit down before a rehearsal. This metal ligature fits alto and tenor saxophones, with an adjustable screw to set the diameter around your mouthpiece. One clip per pack, measuring 20 x 21 mm. Worth keeping as a spare in the case.

A Firm Fit On Alto And Tenor Mouthpieces

✅ Adjustable to your mouthpiece A screw sets the diameter, so the same ligature can be tightened around different mouthpiece bodies.

✅ Metal body resists bending Metal construction resists deformation and loosening through repeated fitting and removal.

✅ Quick change between numbers Slacken the screw, lift the clip off and seat a fresh reed between pieces.

✅ Spare that lives in the case A second ligature means a lost or bent one does not end the session.

A ligature does one job: it holds the reed against the table of the mouthpiece so the reed can vibrate along its length. The screw on this clip adjusts the diameter, which matters because mouthpiece bodies are not all the same thickness.

Size is the thing to check before ordering. The clip measures 20 x 21 mm, and the adjustable screw covers small differences, but a mouthpiece well outside that range may not sit comfortably. Measure the body where the ligature sits if you are unsure.

This is a replacement part rather than a mouthpiece, and it is supplied on its own. Keep your existing mouthpiece and reed; the ligature is the piece that wraps around them.
