Choose the supply version before connecting power

Use a once-only prompt for a startup message or a loop for a repeating display. The next-track mode advances to another stored track after power-on, according to the described behaviour.

The 5V versions must not be treated as the 6–35V version. A supply rated at least 1A is specified. The device has 4MB of storage and a stated maximum 3W output; no tested water-resistance grade is confirmed.
