5840-31ZY DC Worm-Geared Motor, 12/24V Options

Choose a geared DC motor around the supply and movement your mechanism requires. The 5840-31ZY range includes different voltage and output-speed configurations.

Select the Motor Around the Whole Mechanism

Check shaft dimensions, mounting holes, rated load and startup current before purchase. A slow-speed label does not establish the torque or continuous-duty performance required by your project.

Use a suitable motor controller, power supply and protective arrangement for moving parts. Confirm the selected output-shaft configuration from the image. Do not assume the gearbox is self-locking or suitable for lifting a person or safety-critical load.
