External Bird Cage Seed Feeder with Pull-Out Catcher Tray
Keep scattered husks closer to the feeding area when your bird eats. This external cage feeder combines a gravity-fed seed bottle with a clear feeding enclosure and pull-out tray. It is for owners of small birds with a compatible wire-cage opening.
- ✅ Tidy up after feeding — The lower pull-out tray catches fallen husks and loose seed for removal.
- ✅ Check food during your daily round — The clear bottle makes the remaining seed level visible.
- ✅ Leave more room inside the cage — The feeding enclosure mounts outside a compatible cage opening.
- ✅ Keep food moving towards the bowl — Gravity feeds suitable dry seed down from the reservoir as the lower area empties.
A contained feeding area with an accessible tray
The bird reaches the feeding area through a compatible cage opening, while the enclosure sits outside. Clear walls help contain some scattered seed and let you see the feeder's condition. They do not eliminate every spill.
The illustrated door-opening range is 5–13cm high and 5–12cm wide. Compare those measurements, the cage bars and the fixing position before fitting, and make sure there are no escape gaps. Allow your bird to become familiar with the feeder while checking that it can reach food comfortably.
Use suitable dry food that passes through the outlet and inspect the flow daily; gravity feeding is not timed or measured dispensing. Remove husks from the tray, clean the parts regularly and refill with fresh food. One feeder assembly is included; cage, bird and food are separate.
