A headworn microphone is the alternative to holding a handheld for an hour. The double earhook carries the capsule beside the mouth and the omnidirectional element picks up speech from any direction, so nothing has to be aimed when you turn to a screen or a whiteboard.

The five versions differ at the plug: 3.5 mm male and female, a 3-pin XLR, and two 4-pin XLR fittings, one of them for Shure-standard systems. Match the plug to the socket on your bodypack or mixer before ordering, because the microphone takes 2.0-10 V DC from the equipment it is connected to and has no battery of its own.

The cable runs about 1.2 m, which reaches from a bodypack clipped at the waist up to the ear. The pack holds the microphone and the two covers; a transmitter, receiver or mixer is not part of it. The finish is black.
