Build a room routine around activity, with extra readings only where you need them. This Zigbee microwave motion sensor comes in dedicated Tuya/Smart Life or Zigbee2MQTT versions. It is for smart-home users choosing an input for an existing compatible gateway.

Choose the readings your room routine needs
The five options have different capabilities. Type 1 is Zigbee2MQTT motion only; Type 2 adds luminance; Type 3 adds luminance, temperature and humidity. Type 4 is Tuya/Smart Life motion with luminance; Type 5 adds temperature and humidity. Do not assume every option includes all four inputs.
All five choices require a compatible Zigbee gateway, supplied separately. Z2M options belong on a Zigbee2MQTT system, while Tuya choices require the corresponding Tuya Zigbee setup. Smart lamps, controllers and other appliances pictured are separate hardware, and actions need a rule you configure.
Fit two AAA batteries, pair the selected sensor and test activity across the intended area. Position and room conditions affect sensing; a sensor event is not a guarantee of intrusion detection or prevention. Adjust your routine after testing rather than assuming the gallery's coverage illustration matches every installation.

Luminance-based lighting needs Type 2, 3, 4 or 5 plus a compatible gateway and lighting equipment.
Configured app notifications depend on the platform and connectivity; no security outcome is guaranteed.
Temperature-based appliance actions require Type 3 or 5 and separately supplied compatible equipment.
A heating routine also needs a temperature-capable variant and a suitable controller.
Humidity-based actions apply to Type 3 or 5, not the motion-only or luminance-only choices.
