HT59 / HT60 Handheld Combustible Gas Tester
Follow changes in the local indication as you carry out an appropriate combustible-gas check. The pen-shaped HT59 and HT60 testers are specified for gases such as methane, with different display options. They are for competent users supplementing a proper gas-maintenance procedure.
- ✅ Bring the sensing tip to the check point — The handheld pen format is easier to position around accessible fittings.
- ✅ Compare indications as you move — The front indicator lets you watch the displayed response.
- ✅ Adjust during a check — A separate sensitivity button is within thumb reach.
- ✅ Carry it between maintenance points — The compact body and pocket clip keep it portable.
- ✅ Avoid leaving it running after use — Automatic power-off accompanies the low-battery indication.

HT59 uses a concentration-style indicator; HT60 is specified with an LCD. Select one model, not a pair. Both use a sensing head at the tip and local controls, without an app or external alarm panel.
Fit two 1.5 V AAA batteries, not included, and allow the specified approximate 30-second warm-up before following the operating instructions. The stated range is 0–1,000 ppm for combustible gas. Readings are not proof that an area is free of gas and do not establish a leak's absence.
One selected tester is supplied. This handheld instrument is not a continuously installed gas alarm, carbon-monoxide life-safety alarm or a certified instrument for explosive atmospheres. No guaranteed detection, response time or accident prevention is promised. The gallery's broad gas chart does not establish certified performance for every substance pictured.

Choose HT59 or HT60; a comparison image does not mean two testers are supplied.

The broad gas illustration does not establish certified performance for each named gas or a CO-alarm function.

The pen-shaped sensing tip can be positioned near an appropriate accessible check point.

Allow the specified warm-up and follow the manual rather than relying on a promotional speed claim.

The compact shape and clip make the tester convenient to carry between checks.

Local sound and a visible indication provide feedback without a phone app.

The illustrated body is approximately 17 cm long.

Power and sensitivity have separate controls; the HT60 option specifies an LCD.
