Non-Contact Infrared Surface Thermometer, −50 to 400°C

Color:
Prezzo scontato€28,40 Prezzo €34,03

Check a hot pan or workshop surface without placing a probe against it. This handheld infrared thermometer measures surface temperatures from −50 to 400°C and uses a laser pointer to help aim. It is for home cooks and practical workshop users, not for body-temperature measurements.

  • ✅ Check a pan while keeping the sensor clear — Non-contact infrared measurement avoids putting a probe into the cooking surface.
  • ✅ Compare workshop surfaces as you work — The trigger-operated meter gives a reading with a stated half-second response.
  • ✅ Read results in a dim corner — A switchable LCD backlight makes the display easier to see.
  • ✅ Record a reading after measuring — Automatic hold keeps the result visible while you note it down.
  • ✅ Use the scale your task requires — A front button switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Point, measure and keep the surface reading in view

Aim the sensor at the surface and use the trigger to take a reading. The laser is an aiming aid; the infrared sensor performs the measurement. This is useful for comparing accessible surfaces around the kitchen or workshop without maintaining physical contact with each one.

A 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio means that the measured area grows as you move away. At roughly 30 cm distance, the nominal spot diameter is 2.5 cm. Keep the target larger than the measurement area and follow the manual's guidance for surface type and positioning. A surface reading does not establish food's internal temperature.

The meter runs on two AAA batteries, supplied separately, and comes with a user manual. Automatic power-off follows 30 seconds of inactivity. It is not a medical thermometer, and the laser must never be pointed towards people or animals.

A handheld trigger and aiming pointer make it straightforward to take surface readings.

Kitchen and workshop applications use surface measurements; this is not an internal food probe.

Two AAA batteries power the compact meter and are not included.

The stated response time is 500 ms, useful when comparing several surfaces.

Moving further away enlarges the measured spot; keep the target larger than that area.

Separate front buttons control the laser, backlight and temperature scale.

Keep steam away from the sensor and follow the manual for measuring liquid surfaces.

The laser helps with aiming, while the separate infrared sensor measures temperature.

Check the surface of a pan or its contents without dipping the instrument into the oil.
