Fitting follows the drill, screw, screwdriver order: mark the corner, drill pilot holes, then drive the four screws through the countersunk seats. Because the holes are countersunk, the screw heads sit inside the brace face instead of standing above it, which keeps the joint tight to the panel.

Each brace measures 2.2 by 3.5 cm and is 0.3 cm thick, so it suits small joints: drawer boxes, cam-lock cabinets, picture frames and thin panels. A wide structural joint needs a larger plate, because this one is ABS and small by design.

No load rating is given for these braces, so treat them as reinforcement for a joint that is already assembled rather than as the only thing holding a shelf up. They are clear and removable, so if the furniture is taken apart regularly the brace comes off with the screws.
