Single-Mode OTDR Launch Fibre Box

Choose Length Around the OTDR Test

The appropriate launch fibre depends on pulse width, dead zone and the link being measured. Select a length suited to the test and record it as part of the measurement setup.

Match APC and UPC connector finishes correctly and inspect/clean the connections before testing. This is a launch-cable accessory, not an OTDR. A launch box does not remove every measurement limitation or replace a receive fibre when the method requires one.
