Wooden Bird Nesting Box, Small or Medium
Give a suitably sized bird a defined nesting space while keeping access for routine checks. This wooden nesting box has a round entrance, a small entrance perch and a hinged access lid. It is for bird keepers selecting a box for their own birds and cage setup.
- ✅ Reach the interior — Open the hinged lid when the box needs inspection or cleaning, rather than reaching through the entrance.
- ✅ Offer a separate cavity — The enclosed wooden body creates a distinct nesting area within a suitable bird setup.
- ✅ Provide an entrance foothold — The small perch below the opening gives a bird somewhere to step before entering.
- ✅ Choose for your setup — Small and medium options let you select the body size before fitting it in the cage.
A nesting space you can open for access
The round entrance leads into a wooden chamber, while the hinged lid gives you a separate way to access the inside. That distinction matters when cleaning an empty box or checking its condition: the entrance does not have to serve as your only access point.
Choose the box and entrance size for your birds rather than assuming one option suits every small parrot. Small and medium refer to the box size; they are separate variants, not a two-box bundle.
Plan a secure position in the cage before use and check the fit of any mounting hardware against your cage bars. The box is supplied as one unit; cage and bedding are not included.
The perch sits directly below the entrance, giving a bird a place to step before entering.
The larger option needs more cage space; measure the intended position before choosing.
The enclosed wooden body provides a separate cavity rather than an open shelf.
Small and medium are individual options; two boxes are shown for comparison.
Check the box position and mounting fit against your own cage.
The smaller body is an alternative size, not an extra box included with the medium option.
The hinged lid gives direct access to the interior for checks and cleaning.
The lid opens on metal hinges rather than requiring access through the entrance.
The lid latch closes the access panel between checks.
