Build a Cleaner Background for the Shot

Choose enough width for the subject and allow extra length if you want the backdrop to continue onto a surface. A plain background also gives you more freedom to arrange props and lighting without competing patterns.

Green and blue options can be used for chroma-key work when the lighting and editing setup permit. Keep the subject separated from the background and light it evenly; fabric colour alone does not guarantee a clean key.
