BT-605A AC/DC Current Clamp Adapter

Add clamp-based current measurement to a suitably rated digital multimeter. The BT-605A probe converts supported AC or DC current into a millivolt output for the matched receiving instrument.

✅ Use the existing meter for a clamp-current reading - The probe's specified voltage output provides a current reference on a compatible millivolt-measuring input.

✅ Measure around a suitable single conductor - The opening clamp provides a measurement arrangement without inserting the meter in series with the circuit.

Match the Probe and the Meter Together

Use the probe when the current-checking task calls for a clamp and the meter can interpret its output. The stated 1mV-per-amp conversion lets the reading be related to current using the correct meter setup.

Follow both instruments' instructions for the input connection, AC/DC selection and measurement conditions. The current output is a voltage signal, so do not copy an unrelated meter's terminal arrangement. Use only within the marked ratings of the complete probe-and-meter system.
