Take the reference with you
Use absolute measurement for an angle reading or set a local zero to compare two surfaces. The gauge can display degrees or percentage slope, making the same tool useful for different setup checks.
Place the base flat against the surface being measured. The magnet works on suitable ferrous materials, not every metal. When used near machinery, take readings with the equipment stopped and isolated rather than leaving the gauge attached during operation.
The package includes one gauge, screwdriver and instructions. Fit two AAA batteries before use; they are not included. The compact plastic body fits in a tool bag between measurements.
