Fit Both Parts and Test the Reported State

Mount the transmitter and magnet according to the required alignment and gap, then test opening and closing before relying on the displayed state. Use suitable surfaces for the adhesive and keep the sensor within Wi-Fi coverage.

Notifications depend on network access, app settings and phone permissions. The sensor does not lock the opening or guarantee intrusion detection, and voice-assistant or automation features depend on the current supported integration.
