Three garden checks on one analogue dial
Slide the selector to moisture, light or pH, then read the matching scale. For soil tests, insert the probes gently into suitable soil, avoiding stones and hard ground. Allow the pointer to settle before recording the result; the supplied directions specify approximately ten minutes.
Use the result alongside what you know about the plant and its growing conditions. Moisture readings refer to the soil at the probe position, while the light setting compares illumination at the meter. The pH scale is for soil checks rather than testing drinking water or other liquids.
Remove the probes after each test, wipe them clean and store the meter away. It is a portable spot-check tool, so do not leave it permanently in the soil. The package contains one green three-function meter.
