A simple speed readout with its own GPS reception

A dedicated speed display is useful when you prefer large numerals to a small dial. The green LED face concentrates on the speed reading, and its compact housing can sit on a suitable dashboard position. Keep it clear of your view, airbags and vehicle controls.

The unit uses satellite reception rather than vehicle diagnostic information. It needs an adequate GPS signal, so readings may be unavailable or unreliable in tunnels, enclosed parking areas or other obstructed locations. Allow it to acquire reception outside before use.

Power comes from a compatible 5V USB source through the side connection. A vehicle socket adapter may be used if appropriate, but an adapter is not confirmed as included. Whether power stops with the ignition depends on the vehicle's USB socket. One display is supplied; this is a direct-view dashboard screen rather than a confirmed windscreen projector.
