HW-100 Wall Scanner for Studs, Metal and AC Cables

Plan a wall fixing with more information about what may be behind the surface. The HW-100 scanner offers modes for supported stud, metal and live-AC detection, with a clear LCD reference.

Scan and Cross-Check Before You Drill

Calibrate over a suitable clear area, then scan slowly using the correct mode for the wall and target. Readings depend on wall construction, target depth and calibration.

The battery-powered unit uses a 9 V 6F22 battery, supplied separately. Detection cannot guarantee a wall is clear, and an AC alert is not proof of electrical safety; use appropriate checks before drilling.
