The enclosure supports suitable 2.5-inch SATA HDDs or SSDs in 7 or 9.5 mm thicknesses, with a stated capacity limit of 3 TB. It is not an M.2 or NVMe enclosure.

USB 3.0 supports a connection up to 5 Gbps, while actual transfer speed depends on the installed drive and host. Choose the cable/port version that fits the computer. The drive itself is not included.
