Replacement Fan Motor for FT40 and FS40 Table and Floor Fans

When an old table fan hums but the blades barely turn, the motor is the part worth checking first. This replacement motor is built for FT40 and FS40 series fans and rated 220 V, 50/60 Hz; the maker also names Midea, TCL and AUX. It suits anyone fixing a fan rather than buying another.

A motor to swap in before you replace the whole fan

✅ Matched to your fan series The motor is built for FT40 and FS40 fans, which covers many table and floor models.

✅ Also named for Midea, TCL and AUX The maker lists those fans as well, so check the badge on your machine first.

✅ Runs on ordinary mains supply It is rated 220 V at 50/60 Hz, which matches most European wall sockets.

✅ The motor alone, not a fan Reuse the blades, guard and stand from the unit you are repairing.

A fan that hums without turning, or turns only after a push, is a candidate for a motor swap. Check the model badge on the fan base or on the old motor housing before you order, because the FT40 and FS40 series are what this part is built for.

The rating is the other thing to confirm. This motor is wound for 220 V at 50/60 Hz and is not a 110 V part, so it will not suit a fan bought for a 110 V supply.

Fitting is a mechanical job with a live circuit involved, so unplug the fan first. Photograph the wiring before you disconnect the old motor, and keep the screws and rubber mounts that come off with it.
