AMG8833 8 x 8 Infrared Temperature Sensor Module
Build a small thermal-pattern display with an AMG8833 module providing an eight-by-eight infrared sensing array.
✅ See a pattern across an area - Sixty-four sensing points provide more spatial information than a single temperature reading.
✅ Read the array from a controller - An I2C interface gives compatible host software access to the temperature data.
✅ Develop a threshold response - The described configurable interrupt supports reacting to selected pixel thresholds.
Turn the array into a useful display
An eight-by-eight array can show broad changes in a thermal scene for a learning or sensing project. The host reads the values and decides how to display or act on them.
Check the actual breakout board's voltage arrangement, pinout and software before wiring. Interpolated images do not add physical sensing pixels, and this module is not a clinical thermal camera or a safety-certified person detector.
