Match the balancer to the battery design
A series pack can develop differences between individual cell voltages. An active balancer is a component used to address that difference when its chemistry and connection order match the battery.
Verify cell count, chemistry, voltage limits and the exact wiring procedure before fitting it. A balancer is not automatically a complete BMS, charger or overcurrent-protection system; battery-pack work needs appropriate expertise and independent protection.
