Take the measurement where the airflow matters

Position the sensor consistently when comparing two places, keeping your hand and body from blocking the air. Note the location and mode alongside the reading so you can repeat the comparison later.

Use the maximum or average mode when a changing breeze makes one instant reading less representative. Prepare suitable batteries before leaving, as they are not included, and follow the manual for the measuring orientation.
