Place the sensor where the reading matters

Use the remote sensor at a suitable sheltered monitoring point and keep the display where it can be read easily. Test the radio link through the actual walls before final placement.

The sensor's weather protection is limited and does not permit immersion. Allow readings to settle after moving either unit, and use the display as a local condition reference rather than a device that controls the environment.
