Turn each movement into a count
A repeat operation can be easier to monitor when its cycles are counted at the work point. Mount the magnet and sensor so the intended movement produces one clean event, then test the count over several cycles.
Check sensing alignment, pulse timing and operating frequency before relying on the total. This is a counting component rather than a safety interlock, and the installation must avoid unwanted extra pulses or missed events.
