Measure travel with a wire-mounted sensor
A draw-wire sensor can be positioned beside a moving part rather than running a long rigid measuring scale along it. The wire must follow a suitable straight travel path within the chosen sensor's stroke.
Select the exact type before designing the wiring. Output, supply and scaling depend on the version, so a pulse model cannot simply be wired as an analogue transmitter; follow the selected sensor's electrical specifications.
