Keep the Two Fibre Checks Distinct

Optical power and a visible-light inspection answer different questions. Select the correct wavelength and adapter for the meter reading, then use the visual function only within the permitted testing procedure.

Confirm which connector adapters are supplied and keep fibre ends clean. Treat the VFL as laser equipment: do not look into the output or connected fibre. The selected range does not establish a guaranteed fault-finding distance, and other link tests may still be required.
