ISO1540 Bidirectional I2C Isolator Board

Separate two compatible I2C bus sections electrically with an ISO1540 bidirectional isolator breakout.

Power each side of the barrier

An isolated bus can be useful when two circuit sections need to communicate without sharing a direct electrical connection. The ISO1540 board provides that communication stage for a properly designed system.

Each side needs its own appropriate power connection. Check pull-ups, voltage levels and bus speed, and do not treat a chip isolation figure as a finished system's safety certification or high-voltage measurement category.
