Read the conditions where the gauge is placed
Position the gauge where you want a local reading and compare it with the requirements of the species you keep. One gauge measures its own location; it does not independently measure a basking spot and a separate humid hide at the same time.
This is a measuring device, not a heater or thermostat. Use suitable separate equipment for controlling the habitat. Keep the unit out of water; an aquarium-related use does not establish that the gauge can be submerged.
Choose one case colour for the installation. The illustrated colours are separate variants, not a six-gauge pack.
Check the actual gauge and panel fit before making an opening. The small body is intended for a compact local display.
Read temperature above the humidity figure, so both local values remain visible without changing screens.
Compare readings at the same position when checking a change. Display resolution is not the same as guaranteed measurement accuracy.
The rear compartment gives access to the button cell. Follow the supplied battery-fitting instructions before the first check.
