Laser Audio Transmission Module - DIY Options
Explore how an audio signal can travel by light with separate DIY laser transmitter and receiver module options.
✅ Follow the signal through two circuits - The transmitter converts audio to light and the receiver converts it back.
✅ Practise electronics assembly - The module format provides a focused project for assembly and soldering practice.
✅ Choose the part your project needs - Transmitter and receiver are separate selections rather than an assumed complete pair.
Build the complete signal path
A transmission demonstration needs both modules, the appropriate supplies and a suitable audio arrangement. The transmitter takes its signal through a 3.5 mm input, while the receiver must be positioned to receive the light path.
Plan the modules and power before assembly, checking polarity and the supplied instructions. Use laser equipment with suitable eye precautions and keep the beam away from eyes and reflective paths; the kit is for an appropriately prepared electronics project.
