Of the five versions, the range includes solar and battery styles. The solar style charges through its Ni-MH cell in daylight, and batteries are included with the set; which style arrives depends on the version chosen at checkout.
The remote handles the eight modes and the dimming. Its working range is not given, so keep it in a pocket or indoors near the string rather than at the far end of a garden.
IP65 is the level quoted: dust-tight and able to take water jets, which is not the same as being left under water. A one-year warranty is stated for the set, and CE is given as its certification.
